How To Break Free From Affair
To heal from infidelity, it would require that you deal with how to break free from the affair. This is the part of reality that is most difficult. Very often, you cannot directly stop the affair and the harder you try, the more unlikely that the affair will end.
But, all is not lost and if you are smart, sometimes there is a very good chance of ending the affair. You will have to take time to stand back, assess the situation and then plan a course of action that might get you the results you want. That way, you will feel better about yourself.
However, when the intensity of the pain and agony is there, it is not easy to stand back but instead, you will be more likely to compel one to revert to old patterns that alleviate the pain although it may not necessary be a wise action to take.
An example is when out of fear of being displaced, a person may lash out and become aggressive which is counter productive and can trigger reactions in the spouse to leave.
The spouse in pain may also use the tactic of internalizing and become depressed, assuming the role of a victim. Out of guilt, the cheating spouse may move closer but there could be frustration and anger that will eventually destroy the marriage.
Most of these actions are automatic. Under the pain and agony no thought is given to common logic. And more often than not, these patterns will only generate more distance between the couple.
The Break Free From Affair Book and Course has helped a lot of people who are suffering from infidelity deal with their problem by helping them to step back and see the patterns. It seems difficult but can be done. Dr. Robert Huizenga, the Infidelity Coach will guide you through recognizing these patterns which are counter productive and help you to empower yourself to deal with the situation.
